“Does God Care About My Happiness?” was my most visited blog post in 2020. This confirmed my suspicion that many people are walking around as I did–with a view of God that is less than kind.
I grew up with a view of God that was centered less on His grace, and far more on His judgment. As a result, I found myself fearing that any decision I made might be wrong and invoke His wrath. Thankfully, I have since learned that I can go to God’s word when these fears arise and find out what’s really true.

Some of us need more than a pep talk, self-help book, or swift kick in the pants to stay motivated. We need a well that never runs dry.
God’s design for boundaries was never to hem us in, but to free us up for what He’s called us to do.
